Account Deletion

How to Delete Your Account

CloudSweeper is designed with your privacy in mind. We automatically delete all your personal data when you log out or uninstall the app.

Automatic Data Deletion

When you choose to log out of CloudSweeper or uninstall the application from your device, we automatically:

  • Remove all authentication tokens stored locally on your device
  • Remove any cached data related to your cloud accounts
  • Remove all locally stored personal data and app preferences
  • Clear any usage analytics associated with your account

Data Processing Location

All data processing occurs locally on your device. We do not store the content of your emails, contacts, calendar events, or files on our servers. Cloud Sweeper does NOT maintain user accounts or store personal data on any servers. All authentication tokens and temporary data are stored locally on your device and are removed when you log out or uninstall the app.

Data Retention Policy

Our data retention policy is simple:

  • Active Account: Data is retained only for the duration of your active session
  • Logged Out: All locally stored data is deleted immediately
  • Uninstalled: All locally stored data is deleted immediately

Manual Account Deletion

If you wish to manually delete your account:

  1. Open the CloudSweeper app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select "Logout"
  4. Confirm your decision

All locally stored data is deleted immediately when you log out or uninstall the app.

Note: CloudSweeper does not store copies of your cloud data. All scanning and duplicate detection happens locally on your device, ensuring your privacy is protected at all times.
